WELCOME TO THE MCREYNOLDS FAMILY COMMUNITY ON HOOSIER ROOTS

The McReynolds Community explores my research on the descendants of John McREYNOLDS , believed to have been born in Scotland about 1668. This line continues through Ireland and into North Carolina via Roland McREYNOLDS by 1762 Roland's son Joseph McREYNOLDS (1762-1840) was a soldier in the American Revolutionary War. Joseph and his wife Heneritta BROWNING lived for a while in Virgina and Tennesee before migrating to Posey County, Indiana in 1831.

The information I have listed here is a combination of family notes, shared research from other family historians, and research into origianl records from southern Indiana.
